One Million Devotees Watching: ISKCON Vrindavan Wins YouTube’s Golden Play Button

The Krishna-Balarama Mandir’s channel has received YouTube’s Golden Play Button.

VRINDAVAN, India — ISKCON Vrindavan’s YouTube channel has passed one million subscribers, earning YouTube’s Golden Play Button, the award the platform gives to channels that reach the one-million mark.

The temple announced the milestone on September 27 in a YouTube Short titled “We Got the Golden Play Button! ISKCON Vrindavan Reaches 1 Million Subscribers.” “A milestone made possible by your love, support, and devotion!” the announcement said.

The channel is run by the Sri Sri Krishna-Balarama Mandir, the temple Srila Prabhupada opened in Vrindavan in 1975. It streams daily programs from the temple, including darshans, aratis, classes and readings from Srila Prabhupada-lilamrta.
