INDIA — Devi Chitralekha, the Bhagavata speaker, has sent greetings to ISKCON for the movement’s 60th anniversary in a Hindi video message of about a minute and a half, published on 30 October 2026 by ISKCON’s global YouTube channel.[1]

The message

Opening with “Hare Krishna, Hari bol, Radhe Radhe”, she notes that ISKCON is completing 60 years and that the samadhi of Srila Prabhupada is reaching 50 years. ISKCON, she says, is more than an institution: Prabhupada began an organisation that took devotion and the holy name around the world, fulfilling Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s order that they reach every town and village.[1]

“Krishna-bhakti was preached among Indians by all the great souls, but if anyone went to the Western world and sounded the conch of bhakti, it was Sri Prabhupada himself.”

She lists the services carried out through ISKCON: care for cows, food distribution, prasadam, and carrying the books of the Gaudiya sampradaya to the public. She closes with her prayer that this preaching continue throughout the world, and with her good wishes to the whole society.[1]
