“I Will Reply Only to Essential Communications”: Hridayananda Dasa Goswami Withdraws to Finish Great Bharata

Hridayananda Dasa Goswami has announced that he is retiring from active programs in order to focus on finishing his essential books, including Great Bharata. He will continue to give diksa initiation, with approximately two initiation ceremonies each year. The announcement was posted on his official Facebook page, which is maintained by the HDG Communications Team.

Letter to devotees

Dear Devotees,

Jaya Prabhupada! Many times I have expressed my need to retire from other services and focus on finishing the essential books that Lord Krishna has inspired me to write. As my body ages, the need becomes more urgent.

The devotees are very dear to me, and to serve all of you in the best way, I will be retiring from active programs. I will reply only to essential communications. Lord Krishna protects all of His sincere devotees. By the mercy of Prabhupada and Krishna, there are many great souls in ISKCON, including my own advanced disciples, who can advise and help devotees in need.

I pray that I will be able to serve you in the best way by completing Great Bharata, and other essential writing.

Diksa initiation will continue

A notice published with the letter states:

Hridayananda Das Goswami will continue to give diksha initiation.

There will be approximately two initiation ceremonies each year.

To arrange your initiation or to take shelter, please email: hdgoffice2023@gmail.com. This will be the only authorized way to coordinate first initiation, second initiation, and shelter.
