Trinmul Congress MP and actress Nusrat Jahan, from the Basirhat Lok Sabha constituency of West Bengal, wore sindhur in her hair, bangles on her wrists and a sari and, after reaching parliament, is a continuous target of fanatics. On arriving at the ISKCON Mandir and Jagannatha Ratha Yatra, Nusrat Jahan once again clarified that she was Muslim by birth and today is still a Muslim. On Thurday, Nusrat participated in the Ratha Yatra, after which she again became a target of criticism by radicals. (Read more)
