The Dangerous Attack on ISKCON – Mayapur Chandrodoya Mandir – April 30th,1984

HARE KRSNA–I WAS THERE AND I SAW EVERYTHING.

The Attack Came about 1:00 AM At Night-we were woken by 2 PANICKED guards (we only had 2 Indian guards -with guns-) and Thunderous Bangs on the Temple Rooms -Diety Doors+Bomb Explosions and Gunfire—The Dacoits were at least 100+–Heavily, Armed with guns and homemade bombs……We shot two dead. ( I saw them, they looked like Monsters ).Srila Prabhupada Original-Personal -.Radharani deity was taken by the Dacoits – (Later Broken by them)–as well as Prabhupada Small Murti from the AlTAR -,, it was a Horrific-Dramatic thing to see…I kneeled by my godbrother in his pool of blood-HG Raghava Pandit Das Prabhu (now Maharaj) His leg got blown off by a Bomb (he could have bled to death-He remained calm and asked for this bead bag(as he bled profusely) We wrapped his leg tight-with cloths-(he tried to stop the Dacoits They threw a bomb at him)–, I Sat with him on the ground for hours- until almost Daylight…When a car could take him to the hospital.
