On 14 March padayatra reached Padra Town in Gujarat, which is located on the outskirt of Vadodara city. Padra is a town where Padayatra reached via Karzan from Bharuch, Gujarat, India. In Padra devotees assembled from nearby places like Vadodara, Karzan, Bharuch, and others.
In the evening the assembled devotees firstly did preparation for starting the padayatra and then performed sankirtan. We then went to the market along with our beloved Sri Sri Gaur Nitai while devotees performing the kirtan and then stopped in the town in a society campus to perform Gaura-arati and after Gaur-arati HG Damodar Chaitanya Prabhu given a short lecture to motivate the devotees to perform kirtan daily at home with family members and neighbors. After that devotees reached back to the place where we have started the padayatra the Delicious Krsna Prasadam is ready. Then all the devotees honor the prasadam and went back to their respective places. Padyatra will continue their journey the next day back to Bharuch.
These devotees by the mercy of Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga are trying to fulfill the desire of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu which is described in Chaitanya Charitamrita as:
These feelings are Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s desires that His special mercy be spread throughout the world in this Kali-yuga.
pṛthivīte āche yata nagarādi-grāma
sarvatra pracāra haibe mora nāma
The desire of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu is that all over the world everyone, in every village and every town, know of Him and His saṅkīrtana movement. These are the inner feelings of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
So, at last, I conclude here and paying my obeisance’s to the padayatra team who are working for the pleasure of Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga. Hare Krsna.
Your Servant,
Padmanayana Krsna Dasa
