Sankirtan is necessary for Moksha and Peace
Sankirtan is absolutely necessary for one’s own Moksha and peace. In Indian civilization and culture, women are worshipped as shakti or energy. The above thoughts were shared by Mata Devjani Devi Dasi of ISKCON West Bengal in her talks with Dainik Jagran. She shared that Eeshwar himself does not partake in the food. But he feeds people. In every person there is God. Even today, people respect people who rise above selfishness, jealousy, and maliciousness only to serve people in society. If people forgot authority of rights and just focus on Karma then Moksha can be attained. In the modern materialistic world, the youth generation is getting attracted to European civilization. Whereas, European people are getting attracted to Krishna Bhakti and the message of the Gita and the Ramayan. Ram, Sita, Krishna and Radha’s character is being adopted and owned by these people. For such purpose, ISKCON is arranging Sankirtan within communities to make people aware and conscious. Adding that in the whole world we have small and big 4006 temples and centers. Advise was given that, dhoti kurta and saree must be worn and food should be consumed while sitting down.
