Jhans, Gurugram: Once again, a complaint has come forth regarding the midday meal provided to students of Government schools. At the State Primary School in Nathupur on Thursday, in the midday meal provided, students were worried about seeing worms in the food and went hungry. The students said that, on that day, the menu for the meal was Kadhi Chawal or Kadhi Rice. On Friday, the Administration submitted its complaint to the District Primary Education Authority. On the complaint of the School, the District Primary Education Chief, Premlata said that the complaint of negligence was received by her and she is getting the matter investigated. The Department has also sought a reply from ISKCON, which in this case, had supplied the midday meal. Office bearer, Tarun Suhag of the State Primary Teachers Association has said that they would submit a complaint to their Department so that such negligence in the future may not happen. He also said that instances of such small and big negligence in the midday meal have been routine, in the past as well.
