In this world, one will find two types of prison houses. First one is concentration camp where a person is practically tortured in the prison and given all kinds of severe punishments so eventually he died. The purpose is to kill him.
The second one is ordinary jail where a person is put behind the bars for his criminal act but at the same time, he is given all facility to maintain himself and a chance to rectify his mind so that ultimately he goes outside of the jail and live peacefully and happily.
Now the question arises, Is god made this world like a concentration camp or ordinary jail?
Shastras say that this world is like an ordinary jail. How? Because, yes there are miseries and mixed happiness experienced by persons but if one carefully observes this world, one will find that there is a complete facility for the small complete units, namely living entities, to realize the complete. God has given us water, air, fire, sunlight, moonlight etc everything to maintain ourselves at the same time there are holy devotees, holy rivers, holy plants, holy books, holy places, holy names to make oneself aware of 3 things, “One’s real identity plus one’s relationship with God plus how to go back to him” so that we can go out of this world and live eternally, blissfully and in full knowledge with him.
Especially for this age where the life span of everyone is very short, one doesn’t have that much intelligence to access all the Vedic literature. Shastras very mercifully has given the process of chanting the holy name of the lord, Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare, so that one can achieve the goal of the human form of life which is the love of Godhead.
