On Friday, school-founder Solanki along with his school children arrived at Pintu’s home and gave him the assistance. Significantly, in 34 years, Pintu lost both his hands in two accidents. Thirteen years earlier in one accident, Pintu’s right arm was cut off from his shoulder. He did not lose courage and as para-olymipic swimmer gained special distinction and also set many records. He trained children at a swimming academy and himself trained. Last 16 May, he was cleaning the swimming pool with a 16 foot iron rod. Meanwhile, his balance faltered and his rod struck an overhead high-tension line. High voltage went into him, and he fell into the pool. He was immediately admitted to the HGH burn unit. There during treatment his other hand was amputated. Despite this, Pintu did not lose heart. He says “I will keep trying to achieve the goal of participating in the Para Olympics.” [
